Illustration Friday

New Year, Same Deal

Tributes to Steve Jobs

With the sad news of Steve Jobs’ passing this week, there have been hundreds of tributes to the innovator. Given Apple’s role in modern digital design, it is hardly surprising that many of these tributes have been visual in nature.

The best however has surely to be the simple elegance of this piece by Jonathan Mak.

Frustrations

There are some days when your thoughts won’t coalesce into something solid, the answer that is on the tip of your tongue but never comes to mind and the image that keeps shifting around in your brain as uselessly as trying to eat soup with a fork. Its been one of those evenings.
